From the grill

Porterhouse, scotch fillet and Sher Wagyu over open timber. The crust in these photographs is what ninety seconds over a wood fire actually produces — none of it is styled or seared for the camera.

From the smoker

Brisket, ribs and smoked lamb after twelve hours. The dark bark and the pink ring beneath it are both signs of a long, low smoke rather than colouring or a marinade.

The room

The dining room before service, during a Friday night, and set for a private function. It is the same space doing three fairly different jobs, and worth a look if you are deciding whether it suits your occasion.

Functions

The venue arranged for exclusive hire — long tables, birthday set-ups and corporate dinners. Useful if you are trying to picture your own event in the space before enquiring.
